The Law Society of Hong Kong is a professional association for solicitors in Hong Kong vested with statutory powers to regulate the professional conduct of solicitors, trainee solicitors and foreign lawyers. It was incorporated in 1907 as a company limited by guarantee.

Given the increasing number of child abuse cases in recent years and social demands for a recognised Children’s Commission in Hong Kong, the theme of Teen Talk 2018 was “Children’s Rights”. Under the guidance of lawyers, students were encouraged to develop analytical thinking on children’s rights, voiced their opinion and gave feedback on government policies on this topic. The “Basic Law & Legislative Procedure Talk”, “Mock Legislative Council Debate and Guided Educational Tour at the Legislative Council” and “Joint Opening Ceremony of Law Week and Teen Talk 2018” were held in the 2018 Programme.
