Since its establishment in 1907, the Law Society of Hong Kong (“Law Society”) has committed to safeguarding the rights and professional ethics of solicitors in Hong Kong, promoting reform in law and its practice, while caring and contributing to the society by enhancing legal knowledge and understanding of the law of the general public. Aiming to nurture the younger generation, to provide an interactive learning platform to raise the social awareness of the younger generation as well as their interest in law. The Law Society organises “Teen Talk” in the past decade to provide an interactive learning platform to enhance social awareness and interest in law among adolescents.
As the annual flagship programme of the Law Society, “Teen Talk” is themed with a law-related subject every year to organise a series of activities for the student participants to take part in. These topics were delivered through a wide-range of activities such as group discussions, seminars, debates, and mooting, which are well-liked among teachers and students. Over the years, more than 10,000 local students have participated in Teen Talk.
To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Teen Talk, a memento booklet is published in August 2021 to review the Programme’s themes and activities over the past decade. Distinguished guests in the legal profession and key members of Teen Talk have also contributed insightful messages towards this meaningful programme. The full version is now available online: |
